Recent testimony to the Jan 6 Committee of the US House of Representatives revealed the complicity of the Secret Service in not acting or passing on information about the likelihood or preparation for the violence of which they were aware. Did this spring from a false sense of loyalty to the man they were sworn to protect and not the person who held the Office they were sworn to protect?
